These are book pages instead of magazine pages, but I hope they count!

I made these for a swap with someone who liked a lot of papercrafting. I took pages out of an old, partially-destroyed book and printed images on them with my inkjet. The effect came out better than I'd hoped, though I might use lighter pictures next time.

They have their own thread here

I have two ideas... One hanging basket and one cat cave. I'm not owned by any cats (that's the way it works, right?) but I have friends with cats.

I like using hubbys old t-shirts for making yarn, because they are large and make a lot of it. He's getting thinner and thinner, so I'll probably get more t-shirts to craft with when they start to look too large on him.

I, too, love the book pages, CamelonHound - the fox in particular. Where did you find those great drawings?

Thanks guys! I mostly found the pictures through Google image searches. I used the word "vintage" a lot.

yay... glad to see this taking off.  I have a few ideas myself ... like a recycled paper wreath for the front door, but probably won't get around to doing it for a bit as craft priorities for swaps and gifts take priority.

On the lines of the paper bowls,  some sent me some recycled paper hot pads a couple of years ago they are like the bowls, but are smaller flat circles, or squares that are woven with thread as opposed to glued, made into larger squares.  I suppose smaller ones could be made for coasters.  Wonder if a large one could be made for a floor mat or placemats,  or whatever.

Oh... I like the idea of a wreath! We've had a cute button wreath on our front door for... um... a couple of years? Hubby has started to complain that we need something new there. Perhaps I should surprise him with something new!
