Practically all my gifts this year for the holiday season are recycled paper bowls and dishes that have been glossed and will be filled with gingerbread. The first is hard but after that it gets a lot easier as you just get into the motions. I do them while watching movies, after a while you just start to get into the motions naturally. Cut lots of strips, prepare them, glue roll glue roll glue roll and so on.

Edit: I'll post a picture of one of my things that isn't quite a bowl sometime soon.

Oooh, can't wait to see!

I've got an idea for my catalogs/magazines that I wanted to do this weekend, but mom came over for some Christmas card making, so I haven't had a chance to yet.  But I know what I'm going to do!

It is not made of magazines, but newspaper - I hope it is ok. Nothing fancy, I just wanted to try.[

Here is a tutorial I found. It is to a slightly more advanced version: http://www.craftstylish.com/item/47658/the-times-they-are-a-changing-how-to-make-a-basket-from-a-newspaper/page/all

Just so everyone knows, you're also welcome (and encouraged) to post your picture in the 'We want to see' thread AND making your project a post of its own (which can be linked here or in the WWtS thread) in whichever actual board your project goes in!

Great basket!! It would be difficult for it to hold time here with the kids thought! ahah!

Saying that a thing is time consuming is not bad, it's just the truth. We all love to craft here, but sometimes you gotta choose for efficiency!!! I LOVE knitted kid pants but when my kids need pants I tend to serge two sweater sleeves together and voil, pants in 15 min instead of X hours (bonus its RRR Wink )

I wore my paper bead earrings today, and as huge as they are, they're so light I forgot I had them on. I've been looking at tutorials online today, and think more beads are in my future!
