What a great use for those little bits of wrapping paper. They are so pretty.

I have kept three for stocking fillers and the rest are piled in a dish for friends to take home as a little treat when they call in for a mince pie.

The chocolate bars come in packs from Aldi's. They cost about 1.19 for five bars and their are several different varieties. They make great little gifts and would be ideal for the kids to make on a cold winter's day. It doesn't need to be Christmas for them to wrap a chocolate bar.

t is mincepie season and what better way to hide the evidence than to turn the little foil dishes into leaves. I am looking out for a really sturdy branch and then I plan to wire them to the branch and stick in a pot in my conservatory. Oh! and no, I didnt eat all these. It was my carving club Christmas get together last night. Someone had said that I was collecting the foil dishes (I wasnt actually). I ended up with a whole pile of them. I hadnt even thought of a project for them at that point :-)
