My most recent swap was the Assemblage Swap that sheepBlue hosted.  I made this little creature for artista83.  It has had several names while making it, and since I can't remember what I wrote in the note to artista83, I'm calling it My Little Monster for the mo...I used two Guinness Co2 balls, two safety eyes, wire, and glow in the dark paint for the eyes.  The head is a Hello Kitty Jelly Belly tin (it can be opened so she can store things there), paint, Fimo glow clay teeth and glow in the dark paint.  The neck is a found bike cell phone holder and a tube from a Cpap breathing machine (It can be reshaped to make sure it will still stand when the head is filled up).  The body is a plastic dolls body (I left the creatures belly unpainted to show what it was) covered in craft foam and glow in the dark paint.  The legs are from a My Little Pony (thus the name) left unpainted.  The tail is an Archie McPhee finger tentacle that I bought just for this critter.  Everything else is from my stash.  I used brass screw head brads to attach the legs to the body and hot glue to hold the neck to the body and the tin to the neck..but it all stayed together before the glue and the paint was added....I just wanted to make sure it stayed together Grin

and here it is with it's glow on...

and some head closeups..

and some body shots...

I had a ton of fun making it, and I miss it too.  I even went back and bought the rest of the Hello Kitty tins so I can make more Grin

Thanks for looking Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

Oh wow -- the glow in the dark is super neat, and I love the way his mouth opens and you can store stuff inside!  Too cool.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Jaw-droppingly (jaw-liftingly?) brilliant! I love the collection of odd objects that you've used and the great teeth. Of course the glow-in-the-dark is the perfect Suereal touch!
