In the spirit of craftster I'd love to see you post more information about the project here.  Smiley

Do you brush the white paint onto the child's foot, do you have them step onto the paint spread out on a paper plate or something & then have them do the print?

Yes!  I think next time I will post the instructions on Craftster and a few pictures and only link if there are a TON of pictures (usually, there are..the downside to being a photographer!  I take SO many pictures of EVERYTHING)- it was just out of laziness and anxiousness this time :-P

I first had my niece step in the paint and smoosh her foot around but I realized not all of the paint distributed evenly and the first try resulted in a toeless foot :-P I then had her step in the paint and I brushed her foot with my paint brush to distribute all of the paint and then I had her gently put her foot onto the canvas.  SO SO SO simple!
