Hi All,
This is something I recently completed for the Craftster Trick or Treat swap. I have very little experience with this type of craft, but I think it came out pretty well, thought I'd share.

I made a little coffin curio!

Here's a little detail shot of the top, made with three braided, fuzzy pipe cleaners, a silver pipe cleaner for the bow, a small piece of Halloween ribbon and a small, silver moon bead.

Here's a shot of the whole inside, opened up.

This is a detail shot of the inner left side featuring a tiny bottle of "Halloween Wishing Dust"

This is the inner right side...

I made the little pumpkin and tombstone with Fimo clay, I haven't worked with this stuff in eons - I need smaller fingers!

I Mod Podged a small label onto the back for my partner so if she has this for years, she'll remember who gave it to her and for what reason.

And one more glamour shot of the entire inside.

I really enjoyed making this piece, for me this took a lot of imagination and trial & error just because I don't have much experience with mini things, and paper crafting, but I was kind of going with the theory that too much is never enough, so I just kept adding and adding until I'd covered almost all the surfaces. I was overjoyed when my partner liked it - score!

Thanks for having a look!
Lisa

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

This is so great! I think you must have done this craft in a previous life or while sleepwalking or something.

You did a really great job on this.   Smiley  I've had one of these coffins for a few years, you've inspired me to find mine and finally get around to embellishing it.

Thanks y'all! This was a fun thing to make, and an interesting lesson in time management! With all the painting and layering and drying time, these lil doodads take almost as long as a good sized embroidered piece. Lesson learned, this wasn't as quicky a project as I thought it'd be, but worth every moment in the end. Cheesy

This is the most magical little Halloween curio I've ever seen & I'm so tickled that it's going to live in my home! You should do more of these Lisa! You have a real talent there!  Wink

Thank you so much, June! It's always a little nerve wracking the first few times you try something new, my mantra was like Dory in Finding Nemo but instead of swimming it was "just keep adding, just keep adding, adding adding, just keep adding" - lol!!

Also, Mod Podge is one of the most magical substances on earth. I will never complain about it's price again! Cheesy

I have it set up on a table with a few other Halloween display items & my kids are just drawn to it & keep going up to inspect it. My boy keeps telling his sister, "its a decoration...not a toy"... I'm so glad they've listened to me, because I think I'd cry if anything bad happened to it.
