One of our wedding gifts was an e-reader, and naturally: I want to keep this baby safe and scratch-free! So I knitted a cover for that purpose.  It was knit in the round on double pointed needles. This was my first time knitting stripes in the round, and I hadn't gotten the hang of carry the yarn colour changes yet. I think doing only one row of a colour does complicate things with regards to not get holes along the changes.

So the side is not as tidy as it should be, but I still think the cover is pretty and it's functional Smiley

I think it looks perfectly fine. I have been making stripes in the round in many years, and you still see the colour change.
