I don't know what this "noir" thing is but your pictures are fabulous.

I love the humor on your tombstones and you really nailed the old stone look.

Aw, thanks!  The noir this is just a setting on the iPhone camera that makes a b/w image that's a little underexposed-looking, grainy and seems to mess with the depth of field, too.

I just featured your scary cemetery on Craftster's Facebook page. Thanks for sharing. Smiley

Oh wow!  Thanks!

Your headstones made me think of the Edward Gorey opening credits to Mystery! on PBS.

Super cool. I love Halloween. You have done a remarkable job of re-creating things. I am in the hills of Tennessee, and we have so many family cemetaries on their property that it is UnGodly (pun intended there, too. R.I.P for the good folks buried, sorry to poke fun) but, hey. I thank my creator that I wake on this side of the dirt.  Grin I still love the Holiday, and I enjoyed taking your photo tour. Wonderful job. And glad you have been featured on Facebook for this. You deserve it.

Thanks so much! I have searched many many images for research and was so happy I found several of small family cemeteries. It would be so neat to have such a thing on one's property even if they weren't your family.  I wouldn't feel right making such part of my Halloween decorations, though.  I'd still have to make a fake one.

Congratulations! This has been chosen as a Featured ProjectGrin

Wowzers!  Thanks so much!

Awww, thank you so much! It's a very satisfying project and I think worth the work as the 'stones can be used year after year.

The originals are pretty cool - but the afters are AWESOME!

May I ask how you got them to stand up and withstand wind & the elements?  (Maybe I just missed that...)

Thanks!  The end of the original post has 2 links and I think either would take you to explanations of how they're set up!
