I made a new renaissance faire outfit... I didn't make the cincher, however, it was finally sent to me, today! I made a chemise, and cuffs to go with the cincher. The fabric for the cuffs are swirly! I also made a small hand-bag out of the swirly fabric, with a small drawstring. It's the perfect size, small enough to not be a nuisance, and big enough for my camera to fit in!

What do you think?

I think it's lovely!  It's simple and doesn't look like it would get too hot.  I really want to make a ren faire costume, I really don't think it's as fun going in modern clothing.

Your dress is gorgeous!  Gawd, I'd want to wear that all the time...  to work, to the gym, etc.  Was there a pattern involved?  The cat is the perfect accessory!

Was there a pattern involved?

I used Simplicity Pattern 8192, veiw B. I bought enough fabric to make the bodice because I didn't think the cincher would come in time. I never made the bodice, but I plan to! I also added trim to the bottom the the dress.

The cincher is from www.crimsongypsy.com and thanks about Avie! My brother named him because we got her at a grocery store!
