So this technically may not be a quilt  but it is definitely a quilty project.  I'm going to count it toward my 14 in 14.  (Mods move if you need to.)   It is two layers of fabric with batting in the middle and it is machine quilted.

These are raven tails (or inspired by Black Crows if needed for my PQ challenge since it took up most of the day I was supposed to use for stitching binding.)  They are for the robot spirit team to wear at competition.

It was an absolute blast working with the students in the picture teaching them to do many of the steps.  They worked very hard to complete 4 full tails and 2 half tails (for some of the crew).

(Sorry for the fuzzy cell phone pics... it was all I had.)

It looks so great and funny! Is it for a play of sorts? (Sorry, I don't know what at robot spirit team is) - and I would say it is a quilt - when it is quilted, it is a quilt, right  Grin.

I am convinced they are quilts!

It is for our robotics team.  The spirit/marketing team wanted to have some sort of 'costume' to help them stand out at competition.  These are pretty tame as those sorts of things go which is in keeping with our generally serious nature.
