Hey everyone! I hardly ever post on here (and I know I need to do it more) but I would like to share my recent embroidery project. Don't know if this is considered a "finished project"....it's not that kind you kind finish in a day. I have started stitching different patterns that appeal to me on a large piece of fabric, roughly the size of a twin sheet.
Here's what I have so far...

I gathered up the other end of the sheet so I can sort of fit the stitched part in the picture. Once I have more designs stitched on, I'll pin it to the wall and take a better picture.
Here are some close ups of few designs I have stitched on recently.

Ballerina Elephant
Both patterns courtesy of mmaammbr on Flickr. She has such wonderful vintage patterns.

This is most recent stitch. Pattern courtesy of Aunt Martha.

I am really loving this project and as I stitch more I'll try to update on here too.

Happy Crafting!

Very lovely stitching!!! I like your designs, too. The ballerina elephant is cute. I like your choice of colors, in the cottage house, too. What lovely flowers. I have trouble with that type stitch. I always pull the threads too tight. They end up looking like twigs in the round.  Grin

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.
