Topic: What do I do with fudge sauce?  (Read 762 times)

my husband made fudge yesterday.  The instructions said "boil for 5 minutes or to 234 degrees."  At 5 minutes, he insisted on taking it off the heat, even though it wasn't up to temp.  He added the marshmallow cream and chocolate.  Of course, it didn't set. 

So we have 3 pounds of drippy fudge.  Any suggestions for use?  I was thinking dropping a dollop into cupcakes to make a fudgy surprise in the middle.  That would use up...maybe half a pound?

Any other ideas?

The only thing that comes to mind is add some walnuts and jar it up as ice cream topping for Christmas gifts.

sorry for the long delay in answering; my husband ate it with a spoon.
He made a second batch and brought it to temp, but it took almost 20 minutes and was a little weird.  We finally figured out the problem; he was using a whole can of condensed milk instead of the amount required.
Poor guy has to make his own fudge without proper supervision...
