A co worker of mine decided that in the second week of me working with her that I was so cute that she wished she could stick me in her pocket and take me around everywhere with her.  My sister came up with a brilliant idea to make a doll of myself for her to put in her pocket with a little sign/speech bubble that she holds onto.  I procrastinated on this doll for about 2 weeks because I wasn't sure how exactly I was going to make a doll version of myself.  I ended up using a pattern from Good Cookie Creations, for the Lil' Cupcake Doll http://ghilie.wordpress.com/2012/05/28/img-width375/

This is what I came up with in the night before I gave it to her.  I think I spent maybe 3 hours on the doll total, including her little dress.  I also painted on brown eyes, and my facial piercings.  In hindsight, I should have also painted on my star plugs on the ears..

This is the outfit I based the doll clothes on, partially because I had extra fabric for it and this is something I had worn to work one day.
