So glad you liked it! It looks great in your photos. (I found that having a light overhead gives a good effect, as it shines down through the main opening and illuminates the iridescent inside of the baby's head!)

When I saw the plastic Hand of Glory at a local Dollarama store, I instantly knew it had to be the base of whatever I made. Cutting openings into it was obvious, but what to put inside them was a real challenge. And then I thought of this ancient Roman hand talisman, and decided it had to have other objects imbedded in the surface. Originally I was planning to somehow incorporate the five candle-flicker LEDs that were built into the fingers of the hand, but in the end I couldn't figure out where to put the battery pack. They'll have to wait for some other project.

loving all the art posted in the gallery!

and I got my little pcs of art while I was out of town - it's wonderful and so very cool - from Ludi! thank you so much - it's felt with rusted barbed wire around the outside and tiny bones (I think they are bones?) around the heart.

and so nicely finished on the back so it can hang on the wall

I'm so glad you like it, goatgoddess!  The grey and white felts are from my sheep, the bones are snake ribs, and the barbed wire is from the old ranch fencing along our road.   Smiley

I simply do not know what to say about Wulf's piece but, OMG!! I did actually stop breathing when I first looked at that magnificent appendage.  I did manage to get going again near the end of the post.  That is just...amazing...I want to stop typing so I can go and stare at it some more Grin  I'm completely gob smacked Grin

PS. Pretty please make it's own post and tell us how you made that?  I want to make one now Grin

And I love the piece you did Ludi!  It's so cool that you were able to find so many helpful items around you place.  It looks like some important talisman from an ancient alien race....but that is just me Grin
