I made this knocker from the movie Labyrinth for spikefan during the last iyp.  

I used a wood block for the base and sculpted up from there with polymer clay. I used aluminum foil under the clay so it wouldnt be to heavy.  Then painted it a with reds and browns.  Glazed it with watered down black and then used bronze cream rub to give it a metallic shine.  I absolutely love how he turned out. Im planning to do the set me next. Grin  C&C welcome

The sculpting job you did is amazing but I think I love the paint job even more. It looks almost magical the way the colors swirl over the door knocker Smiley

oh wow! I love this! The face is amazingly done. Did you put paint in the crevices? (antiquing?)

NerdEcrafter when I glazed the whole thing with the black it puddled perfectly in the crevices and then I wiped of the excess.
