Just in case not everyone knows still, Jillybeans and her super fab husband just had a darling little girl.  As soon as I heard she was going to have a girl, I knew what to do with a quilt kit I had bought from my last quilt guild.  Everything was precut so it went together nice and fast. The piecing part of quilt making is not my favo thing, so it was nice to not have to deal with that.  And I did both hand quilting and machine quilting.  I was invited to hang out with my dear 97 year old friend for several hours, so that is when I did the hand quilting.  I machined the rest, partly to help to make the quilt stronger and partly becasue I was tired of hand quilting Grin.  I used hearts, stars, and flowers for the quilting.

The two bottom pics are the truest to the real colors I think...

Thanks for looking Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

Very nice! I like the colors and the star quilting you did around the edges. I'm going to try that myself.
