I've been having some adventures in sunpainting that have necessitated finding a way to salvage a few shirts.  I've turned to using machine embroidery.  I wasn't too sure how it would work on t-shirt material.  I am happy to say that it worked out really well. 

This shirt is an overpainted experiment.  I added the Rocket Girl embroidery design from Urban Threads.  Now it is a pretty cool looking shirt.





Here is a close up of the design.  You can see a bit of the sunpainting to the left of her.  There are pictures of some of my other experiments on my blog.

I think they work perfectly together - I never would have known it was overpainted if you hadn't said so!
