My jaw dropped to the floor (in a good way) when I saw mariak post her house ornament from gamemom42 -- I am thinking we must've been inspired by the exact same post on Pinterest!

What is my lesson learned from this swap?
Never, ever sign up for a swap right before a 7 week road trip. Yikes!!
I just got home after 5,000 miles and 7 weeks. My parcel was waiting for me, containing a wonderful felt ornament, a lovely embroidered heart (looks very Swedish! I love it!!) and a crocheted heart.
Thank you mama24boyz!!!! Sorry I was so slow in posting!

As a mother of a 15 year old girl (and a 12 year old boy who is about to catch her in the teen department) I totally feel your pain! I keep telling myself there is no way that I was this annoying as a teenager, but my mom begs to differ Smiley

I feel your teenage pain! Just know that when they turn 20 or so, they turn back into human beans. (yes, beans!). My son, the difficult one, was suddenly cohearant, adult and almost pleasant to be around at 20. And my daughter, the easy one...until she turned 18!, started talking to me again at age 20. They are both in their 30's now and very nice people. Who would have thought.

Everyone with teens, just keep crafting, it will keep you sane!

Just got "done" with a teenager. Done, as in, she has left home now and is living at college. She just turned 19. She's finally turning that corner where she seems like a normal human being. But the past few years were kind of awful. I don't know why anyone has more than one. And my poor parents had three of us in high school at one point. Ugh.

    Now she's awesome. Ugh. Teenagers.
