This is a summer jacket I made for last season. It started out with a pattern but I made a lot of alterations along the way. It does look a little short on me (I'm a tall girl from Holland) but in general I do like the way it turned out. The colourfull fabric is from the Albert Cuyp market in Holland, at 5 dollar a metre, a real bargain. It used to be a more exensive fabric, but due to a little weave error it was this low a price:) Happy me.

Comments are allways appreciated, let me know what you think:)

It is such a striking fabric...and it looks very expensive--rich color, nice tight weave to the fabric.

The details are very nice and do not overwhelm the fabric...classic design but modern fabric!

Excellent work...

Is it lined?

Are those bound  buttonholes down the front? It is hard to tell but the stitching on them look like different colors?

Love this jacket, the fabric totally looks like spring!  and it reminds me of all the gorgeous flower carts that you see on the street in Holland Grin

This is STUNNING. I love the pattern on that fabric, I thought you had hand painted a jacket at first! Beautiful
