I'm working on various fantasy amigurumi characters, and this is the second set, Elves. I made four different Elves, with different looks to reflect the different kinds of Elves that appear in fantasy books, films and games, but with a simple amigurumi feel:

A warrior with long blond hair, a sword and a hooded cloak.

A sorceress with her magical staff.

An archer with a bow and a quiver full of arrows, and a cloak.

A princess with a long dress and tiara.

They're all about 6.5" tall and match with my previous Halfling characters (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=423398.msg5032086#msg5032086). The main thing I had to work on was the hair - I didn't want to do separate strands as they just seemed too big compared to the scale of the figures, so I crocheted the shape of the hair instead. Two of the elves have long hair pulled back at the top and the others have medium length slightly shaggy-looking hair. I also had fun making all the accessories - they seemed to take on a life of their own when I posed them with their weapons!

I hope you like them, I'd love any feedback.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

They're gorgeous, and the hair looks good the way you've done it. I admire all the work you do.
