[Mods- Not sure this is in the right place for this post, It seems the most fitting.]

I really like the idea of making a bound photobook using web sites like Shutterfly or Costco photo and I have seen some really good completed books.  Scrapbooks are nice but I want something lasting and very crisp and perfect for my wedding photos.

I might add I've been married 6 years and have no photo album still. this is why:

They all suck!  I spend hours trying to get one or two pages together, with lots of issues like my pics disappearing, or being unable to save my book to work on later, or other errors.  I've been trying a few out to see what layouts I like, although most of them are so full of cheesy embellishments and unnecessary text.  They all advertise "easy to use" but none of them are!  And I'm pretty good with computers.

What I'd love to find is some software for creating a photobook that is not web-based.  But I'm open to anything that is reliable, if you have had good experience with it.  Can anyone recommend one?
