I know it is a little early, but I'm sleepy so claims are open for Round 98! Woo Hoo!

Join us Avesthel! Now that round 97 is closed to new claims I will start entering feedback in the morning for people who have no more outstanding claims (ha, what a silly thing to say, everyone's claims are outstanding here... I meant to say whose claims haven't been received yet)

Woot, woot!  Yay for a new round!  I'll be signing up just as soon as I open up a few swap spots.

I'm waiting for feedback first too! But maybe that's a good thing because I need time to take care of a few real life things and if crafting is an option I'll always choose to do that first! Haha

I need to finish my crafting for 97 before I claim on 98. I have a job interview tomorrow & if things go in my favour I won't have so much crafting time.

Fingers crossed for less crafting time then!

I managed to finish up my claims for the ongoing pinterest swap so technically I'm ready for a new claim, but I haven't found anything I can do in less than two weeks/feel like doing/have supplies for.

What kind of crafted things do you enjoy making? I think I have a good variety on the list I'm typing up, but I'm probably missing some cool craft...

I mostly knit and crochet and I try to work from my stash when I can... I enjoy making small amigurumi as long as they're not OMG!complicated. Granny squares and designs like that are fun to make, but I haven't found that many fun "medium" sized items made from granny squares...

Hmm... I also enjoy making mixed media creations, and I've done a bit of decoupage and other simple papercraft-y things. I've made hama bead creations before, but I haven't looked in my bead stash in a while. I don't really sew, I can embroider a decent face on a knitted/crocheted ami but that's as far as my embroidery skills go. I do have a few works in progress of the embroidery kind, but they're more like 2 year projects and not 2 week ones Grin

My bunka embroidery is still in the bag since I HAD to pick the complicated pattern in japanese and not the newbie friendly swedish one... Step one: figure out what colour is what... I'll get to it some day...

Sorry for holding the swap up, I updated again. I've got to run out for a bit but will add some more things when I get back if no one has claimed.

There we go! Yarn and needles located, so I've already cast on. We'll see if I get it right the first time around or if I'll have to rip it up later Tongue It's all part of the process...

Can I make a suggestion to those who are in the Pinterest and Holiday list swaps at the moment, instead of saying "you can check out my holiday list too" would you mind adding the link in your OWS list please. I'm sure I've missed out on some things I could claim simply because by the time I've clicked over to the other swaps and scrolled through the lists I've forgotten what I was there for in the first place.

Good luck with the knitting Annchen  Smiley I'm just about to make a start on a crochet baby blanket as it's too late at night here to start up my sewing machine.
