I'm looking forward to this - have been practicing with making some tags and note cards for a couple of my other Christmas related swaps right now and am quite pleased with how my experiments have turned out!

Any ideas on how to make them sturdy? Sleeves? I'm sure my kitten will knock over the tree at least once. I'm going to sign up tonight or tomorrow.

Make the ATC's sturdy? Sleeves protect, but glare in the light unless you get non glare ones. You can glue to a sturdier paper or board, like mat board. Maybe glueing the kittens to the floor would help too.  Shocked Depending on the materials used, you could also coat with a clear gloss or matte spray coating.

I remember years when we either put the tree in a playpen to keep it safe from the two year old, or just didn't decorate the bottom of the tree. My first was a complete terror around anything!

Do people want sturdier cards?  If that is so, I could try backing mine onto something sturdier like chipboard - unless I do make it with thin wood.

I'm okay with anything!  I usually do mine on a thick card stock, but I might be layering, too, so that would make it sturdier as well.

I'm sure Mr. Bean would be okay with this. I'm surprised she hasn't glued herself to the floor. She's very inquisitive when I craft.

Hmmmm - I would glue them at a slightly higher level - maybe on a cat tree or the arm or back of a sofa - less strain on your back to pet them...

He He. Glued kittens. I agree. Gluing them to the back of the sofa would work for me...but I don't think the kitten would appreciate it as much.

Our youngest is now 2 and starting to act like a grown up cat...not too often, but I'm craving a kitten again.
