Behold!  A pair of Camp Out Fingerless Mitts!  Yarn used was Noro Silk Garden Lite.  You can find the pattern here on Ravelry:

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/camp-out-fingerless-mitts

I'm going to try to make another pair using different yarn.  This pattern was quick and fun to knit up.  Cheesy

Thanks everyone!  They were really fun to knit, and very difficult to give away.  That pattern is so perfect for Noro silk garden, which is one of my favorite yarns.  Smiley

They are lovely!  Thanks for the pattern link...I have a few balls of Noro that I had no idea what I was going to use them for...this looks like a perfect project! (I am not a fan of Noro...I love the colorways but not the yarn itself, but so many people do love it that I can easily give these as gifts!)

The one thing I don't like about Noro is how it has that weird twiggy texture.  The colorways are amazing though!  I think I might try to make another pair using Malabrigo Rios.  Their colorways are pretty awesome too Smiley

Malabrigo is my favorite, as well! Cheesy The Chroma you're using, is that Knit Picks? Or am I thinking wrong? I just started a sweater a couple weeks ago, so I won't be casting anything new on for a few more weeks (I have to focus on the sweater or I'll never finish, lol).

Yes, it is from KnitPicks...I made a few pairs last year and they seemed to be holding up well...it is the season for knitting...it is nice to see lovely projects like these mitts to get inspired!

That's good to know that Chroma does well. It always looks so pretty. I think I have to go on a yarn diet and start working from my stash, though, lol, so I'm not going to let myself go look at Knit Picks Wink

But, you're right! I love that everyone seems to be crafting again. I pretty much kept going through the summer, but was doing lighter things like shawls. It feels good to be working on cozy things again Smiley

I picked up some malabrigo rios in arco iris to make a pair for myself.

I have never heard of either of those yarns that you gals are talking about, I am going to have to check them out! Smiley

You should totally do it!  Crystal Palace yarns make some really nice rainbow-y colorways that aren't so twiggy like Noro...so that may work better for you.  Cheesy

I really like these.  I need something like this for using the computer.  My hands are always cold.

I have a question though - I have big arms, how tight are they?  Should I adjust the pattern?

Ok two questions... at the top on the arm, does it roll down?  I'm wondering about finishing it like the finger area.

I sound like I know what Im' doing but it will be a total novice adventure.
