I don't know whether this counts as a quilt or not LOL - it is quilted and appliqued though. About 24" square and made of a vintage South African sarong (kanga). I cut the border print off to make the mane.

Thank you Smiley It had spent about 30 years in a box in my Aunt's loft, and then another 10 years in a box in my loft - it took two washes and a good month of airing to get the musty smell out before I started cutting and stitching!
