To me, Craftster means sharing, inspiring, and giving.

When I first found Craftster, I used to come hear to look, lurk, and
find inspiration. Lately, I have become more active posting projects, and started
participating in the wonderful world of swapping. I have gotten to know some pretty
awesome crafters, and I'm amazed every day at their ingenuity, talent and big hearts  Smiley

I am amazed at what all you wonderful craftsters make for each other every day,
all the amazing things made for others with so much thought and love put into each
and every project. I love seeing swap galleries filled with amazing project, and noticing
time and time again, just how much energy is invested in making the perfect package
for your partner.

A year ago or so, my best friend irl told me about ATCs. She said she would love to make some,
but didn't really know what to do with them. She had heard about swap circles, but
was a bit shy to try it out. So inspired by her interest in ATCs, I started paying more
attention to the ATCs posted here... one thing led to another, and this spring I finally sign up
for my first swap - and have been hooked since! Smiley

As a thank you for my friend, I made her these two ATCs, and sent them with a bunch of "start up"
material to make her own ATCs as well. It was my way of thanking her for introducing me to a
new craft that has brought me tons of fun the last few months.

Made with watercolour and ink, scrapbook paper and some strange lace tape I had laying around.
Based on the greek goddesses of sunrise and moon; Aurora and Selene - because I know
she's a mythology buff just like me Smiley

Now, all I have to do, is wait and see if I managed to inspire her, as Iconstantly get inspired by you guys!

They are lovely with so much detail...the black scroll work and the lace in the back really add interest and texture.

I am glad you found a way to express your creativity and use your talent...I do think it will be contagious so that your friend will soon join in her own fun!

Thanks for sharing!

psst--she can always join the NEWBIE Craftalong to get her feet wet!

These are absolutely lovely.  I just started making ATCs, and I hope to be able to create ones as pretty as these some day.  Keep up the great work!
