I am trying to grid a crochet pattern and need some help.  I am trying to make a lap throw with the Shriner's Emblem crocheted into the pattern.  This is my first time attempting to do this, or if anyone has this type of pattern, any help would be great.  The lap throw will be raffled to benefit Shriners.

Thanks

I know you posted in June, and it is October, now. Just wondering how you went along?
Is the shriner's emblem a sword with a moon and a star (googled it to see)
What you could do is to print off the logo and put it onto grid paper and color in where the logo is. Then you could treat it like a filet crochet, but blanket sized?
If you're still looking, I don't mind helping you make the pattern (I like to play with photoshop), but not sure which logo.
