This was one of the crafts I sent deathbeforedishes for the third package recent Make-a-Friend swap. She had some Cath Kidston bags and things on her Pinterest, so I found some similar floral patterned fabric with pretty roses on blue. I modeled the purse after my own (Lily Bloom) cross-body bag and made my own pattern for it.

The strap is adjustable so it can just go over the shoulder or be a cross-body purse

There is a little pocket on the front flap that closes with a snap. I also installed a snap to keep the front flap closed. The inside has a little zippered pocket, and the backside has a tablet sized pocket. The shell of the purse and the back pocket are lightly padded with fleece.

This is the first time in quite a while that I didn't make my own straps out of matching fabric, but I thought the cotton strap would break up the monotony of the floral fabric on the outside, while keeping the polka dot interior fabric more of a fun secret.

This is so lovely, and so professionally made too.  I love both of the fabrics you used on this, they go so well together.
