For the recent Make-a-Friend Swap, I made deathbeforedishes an armrest pincushion based on a couple from her Pinterest. I used one of her favorite colors (peach!) and one of my favorite themes (woodlands animals <3) when I picked the fabrics. I used a tutorial found here: http://duringquiettime.com/2009/10/scrappy-armrest-pincushion-tutorial.html

On the top is a patchwork pincushion, and on the sides are roomy pockets for scissors or crochet hooks or some other small tool. I also enjoyed making the quilted back section even though it will be hidden most of the time Smiley

I love the fabric you chose!  She's very lucky to get such a nifty pincushion.

Gorgeous!  I never would have thought to pair peach with woodland creatures.  My mind must not work as wonderfully as yours.  It looks amazing and so practical!

The combination of fabrics is lovely, especially the patchwork. Not to mention that your craftsmanship is excellent. So nice!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
