usually I don't even woodburn on wood... Wink

I have to ask because I'm so dang curious... what do you woodburn on if it's not wood?  Cheesy
My favorite crafting medium...they tend to be round and hollow, you grow them in your garden, they sit for a year and get all moldy and gross before you scrub them up and find a wonderful treasure!  Grin

I didn't know you could clean off the mold and gross stuff. Thought they were a lost cause at that point. How do you clean them? Do you use a preservative of some type as a final coating?

yes gourds...they are my favorite thing. I did a tutorial on them a while back before I took an extended leave of absence from craftster. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=362154.0#axzz2g7UmyZTl

if a gourd is squishy, then yes, it is probably beyond hope, but ugly and moldy and dry is perfect!

I will have to pass on this one. My dentist planned to remove two teeth just before the week-end, I doubt I will be up for shopping and crafting.
