Greetings - I am looking for some advice.

My wife is an avid quilter and sewer and we live in an area without a lot of crafting supplies, its an hour to the nearest store that really carries anything.  So we've been known to make a late night run so she can complete a project on time.

Normally what we are in search of is simply binding, be it for a quilt or some piece of clothing she has been making.  To be honest... I'm not sure what she uses it for!

But, what I am hoping to find is SOMETHING that can help her make the binding by hand.  I'm starting my looking early, her birthday and Christmas are both coming up fast, so I want to get some ideas ASAP!

Thank you one and all in advance for your help.

You can use these to make your own bias tape.  They have several different sizes so you can accommodate your different needs.  You just cut your strips of fabric and run it through, pressing with an iron as it come out.
