Here is my house from KimmyLynne82:

Detail of the skull:

The back:

I love having a toad in my house!  The tree is solid and sticks out from the house.  It has a little crow (button) on it.  I'm digging the skull... sticker?  Is it a double sticker with a pop tab in between?
Thank you, KimmyLynne!

Here is my house from Sonjaboo:

Wait.  Here is the sticker on the front of the package that made me laugh when I pulled it out of my mailbox.

Here is the house:

So...  I'm guessing the brickwork was created with embossing, but what is the material?
Thank you, Sonjaboo!

Great texture on those bricks, SonjaBoo.  I love how you added the tree to help the house stand, KimmyLynne82.

Thank you, KimmyLynne!

So glad you like it! The toad made me smile every time I opened his little door - I want to make a whole neighborhood of toad-inhabited haunted chunky houses now!! (Ugh, but now I'm noticing the glue marks - OMG - how embarassing!)

The skull is a sticker - it was in a package I bought from Michaels a couple years ago that I've been hoarding ever since (I'm really bad about that - I buy supplies but I tend to save them until just the right project comes along!!) I believe it has the foam double-sided adhesive sammiched between the layers to make it more 3D.

I love making those trees - though this one gave me some challenges because I didn't want it to be too heavy for the house! Gotta love brown floral tape - it's a perfect texture for tree bark!!! (The base of the tree is wire - probably 12 or 14 gauge so it's nice and sturdy!) I am so glad the tree didn't get mangled in the mail!

I love that toad!  And the stone texture is intriguing.   Smiley

I received my last chunky house today from irid3sc3nt (silver tattered cat house) and earlier from sonjaboo(shiny Orange with embossed brick). All of my partners impressed me!

So glad you ladies liked your houses! Grin (And I thought you'd get a kick out of that sticker, irid3sc3nt! ha!)

The base of the house is cardboard, but then I embossed a heavy crafter's alumninum with my Big Shot/brick embossing folder. I've been dying to use that thing for a house! Grin The roof was done with black card stock in a different embossing folder. Then the orange color is from alcohol inks. They were super fun to make!

And as a final note... I still don't have pics. But I am working on them! My Dad has has some health issues this week and we've been going back and forth to the hospital. I just didn't want you gals to think I had forgotten! Honestly, your houses have brought some fun and cheer into my week. Thank you!

Best wishes to you and your Dad, Sonja!  I recently went through the "Dad in the hospital" thing, so I feel for you.   Kiss
