I've been jotting down so many ideas for thing to fill the stocking, that I need to rein myself in and focus on the stocking itself... I've had ideas for the theme but haven't narrowed down a design yet.

I just got back from a 4 day roadtrip and was able to pick up a few fun things to go in the stocking, but I'm getting excited for the crafting.

On my roadtrip I visited the A Christmas Story house in Cleveland and now I'm in the Christmas spirit! (If you're a fan of the movie, and are passing anywhere near Cleveland, I highly recommend going - I had so much fun hiding under the sink like Randy and spent lots of money in the gift shop).

This is the first stocking swap where I've actually started with the stocking. I have some serious crafting ADD, though, so I've got the stocking and two stuffers about half done each Cheesy

I have got to get my butt in gear.  I have several projects I need to work on, including some wedding projects for one of my friends who gets married in 3 weeks!  Anyway, I will finish up her stuff and then get to work on this one.  I have all my ideas finalized and because of my stash, I know I have quite a bit of the shopping done already.  It is easy to pracrastinate when you have a stack of books calling your name.  Reading is just so tempting!

I got a stocking made the other day, but may change my idea yet! Haha. I like it, but since it was the first idea that came to me, we'll see if I come up with something else along the way. Wink

Also picked up a couple purchased items, and found a few previously crafted items I think my partner will enjoy. Now it's time to make lists of new crafts to make!

I've been working on the stocking, but I have to pace myself. My hands have been bothering me and if I knit for too long my pinky fingers get numb. Tongue

Thank you for the list, Sevs!

I got a crochet pattern for the stocking (Crocheted stockings are best...DH has one, and it S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-S!  Grin), tried it, and it was funky, so I threw it out (the pattern).  Then I tried to get fancy with a certain stitch and use my old tried and true pattern.  That too, didn't work out.  Then I got sick with a sinus infection.  Tongue  I'm still feeling kinda "yuck" so I'll re-start the stocking in a few days...probably this weekend.
