I'm new to Craftster, and I hope that I have selected an appropriate forum for posting my question.
I was in a shop in a small town in Texas recently, and I saw a really interesting flower pot that appeared to be made of pressed gravel--similar to aquarium gravel.  It was shaped like a clay flower pot, but the entire pot consisted of what appeared to be aquarium gravel.  It appeared to be pressed together, as it had a rim on it, just like a rim on a clay pot.  I wonder if perhaps the gravel was molded with the use of some sort of acrylic.  Any suggestions would be most welcome, as I would like to try to make a few of these for my patio.
Thanks:)

your post is nearly a year old, but it sounds like a fun project.

There is a type of floor finish that mixes pebbles with a clear binder.  That's applied in a thin layer and sets up into an aggregate floor.

Find that finish (or maybe just use resin), substitute aquarium gravel, and figure out a way to mold it...

OR start with a pre-made pot, coat with thick resin, and roll in the aquarium gravel.
