I don't know what this yarn is. I bought it at a liquidation center, and I'm pretty sure it was something that was hanging out in someone's personal stash. I worked up the hat with a g-hook, and it all came together nicely. I think it's a nylon blend. The bottom edging is crocodile stitch. I have come to the conclusion that I dig it as an edging or for small projects (like wrist cuffs), but I think, in heavier yarn, it's always going to work up too heavy for me if it's more than a detail. Great little stitch, though.
