Posted another florist vase re-purpose here

This one was way uglier and needed a rescue.


See what I mean?
Here it is all done, and looking a bit classy instead of ugly.

Cool!  I agree with your assessment of the original, but hope that whoever gave you flowers is still cared for despite the vase.  Smiley  I hope you'll show up the whole assembly when complete.  (you did say you were doing 3, right?)
