just wow!  having just received a stitched piece from you, I have to tell everyone has in real life, the stitching is unbelievable!  Like painting with thread...

Thank you all so much.  Smiley  This one was a challenge, because I was working from photos to try to achieve a likeness of an actual person's eye.  Not sure how close I got to it, but it was fun!

Thank you, I'm glad folks like it!  I love to do portrait type work, but it is challenging for me in any medium.  I'd say embroidery is significantly harder than clay portraiture, because I can just keep shoving the clay around until it sort of looks like the person, whereas if I mess up in embroidery, it's a lot harder to fix it back.  :p
