Prototype for a workshop I will be teaching in November. I'm very pleased with how this came out. I want to do some variations. When I get a chance I also want to look for beads that might be used for the tentacle suckers. Octopi can do some amazing colors and patterns so there are lots of possibilities!! =^..^=

We have a huge fascination with octopods in our family and this is so awesome.  I also wish I was going to your workshop! It's going to be awesome!

Thank you!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm hoping to start work on a variation today. Years ago I remember watching a program on octopi and was totally enchanted with their ability to change colors. I am a fiber artist, but first and foremost - I'm a painter. All through the show I kept saying to myself: "I want to paint that!" LOL!! Eventually I will put this together as a class on CraftArtEdu, but not until after the workshop. I designed the project for that specifically. I designed another project for them which includes doing a "skinner blend" in fiber.
