“Make this bag and good fortune will bestow upon you”

I made this using this extremely easy tutorial I found on the weekend designer's page  http://wkdesigner.wordpress.com/2008/08/30/fortune-cookie-purse/ . I used wool fabric and ric rac for this but I have made other fortune cookies as well, using different materials and making different closures, handles etc. The conctruction is very easy and the result is very cute! It also brings good fortune and it is the cutest idea for little gifts!!

I hope you like it and use this tutorial to make a fortune cookie for yourself!!!

This is a wonderful project, and you did a great job with it. I am having trouble downloading the actual pattern, and printer is on the fritz. Could you possibly email me the pattern? I can only save the link, and as we know they often die into cyberspace  Grin I would love to make one of these for my sister, and also my daughter for Christmas. Thanks! ~T

Edit: Whoops. Never mind. I figured it out through wordpad  Grin Now to dig out the fabrics!!!

Thanks a lot girls, it's one of the easiest purse-tutorials! Stillatthetop, I'm sorry I didn't use the pattern and I don't have it either, just saw the scheme and drafted one myself. Do the same, it's not so critical to have the exact pattern sceme, because the purse drapes when closed!
