My mom got me this cool wicker basket for my bike for Christmas. It had a lot of pokey pieces inside so I made a liner.

The yellow ribbon goes all the way through and cinched it up and by taking it to the inside of the liner, the back lays flatter. This also let me try out the buttonhole feature on my sewing machine. I should have done some practice ones first, but I'm impatient and they came out ok.

It needs a little pizzaz. Here's my first two options.

Flowers are a bit to femme for this bike, and me, so I tried this:

But I'm not crazy about it either... Too cold to ride my bike right now anyway!

This is awesome! I need to make a liner for my basket too! I think it'd look cool if you could add more leather detail around the front. Like maybe you could find a belt in the same color as the two straps. Well, that's my two cents.
