Still playing with PMC3! Precious metal clay is such a fun medium to use. I am learning new techniques all the time and enjoy it so much.
After rolling the PMC3 out, this little pendant began with a wee house shaped cutter. Instead of cutting the entire piece out (as you would if you were making a cookie) I left the top open and hand cut the pointy roof into a long enough piece to fold over as a bail. Then I made a bunch of little tiny embellishments like leaves and flowers and added them on in places I thought
looked good. I used syringe pmc to make all the vines. It was dried to leather hard on a coffee mug warmer and then fired at 1200 degrees for twenty minutes.

It was so much fun to make!

Beautiful! Did you also sculpt the bird, or is that a charm? Either way, this is lovely.

Thanks, all!
Racky, the bird silhouette came from a stamp (it was a component of a much larger stamp and I cut him out) I let him dry leather hard and then carved in the details. I used a 1.5 magnification optivisor to get the detail in the wings so I wouldn't go completely blind!
The pendant is about 1 1/4 inches tall.
