I remember seeing this coin, the 200 Colombian peso, with a Quimbaya tribal symbol.

Here's what I did: I found a keyring that just a bit larger than the coin.
The coin stays in with tension.
Used a knot tie for the rope yarn (to keep within the theme).

Ta-Da!!!
