I'm not new to craft fairs, but I have recently been designing lingerie. I want to take some to fairs with me but I'm not sure how well it would sell there and if it would be seen as offensive. Also, how would I handle the issue of people wanting to make sure it fits?
Anyone have experience with lingerie at shows? I have everything from panties and bras to more risque things you'd probably find in a burlesque show.

Thank You!!!

Do the shows you want to do have any type of jury system? Do they want to know what you're selling before they admit you?  Every show I have ever done wanted to know what I was selling before they cashed the check.

I think you should start there. Talk to the promoters first. Would they accept it? Remember, they run the show, not us.

As an example, I was at a show a few years ago where a young lady was selling jewelry. She sent in photos of necklaces and bracelets, etc. But when she set up her booth, she was selling piercings... including piercings for very private areas. She was told to pack up her booth and leave as her items were not what was juried in.

There's NOTHING at a craft show, or on Etsy, anybody NEEDS. NOTHING.
