Basil is a little lost and really needs a home Sad Can;t you just see the sadness in his eye? he just wants someone to love him.

I awoke one night to see strange lights in the sky. I heard a crash!

what was that?! Who's there?! What the heck?!!

I pootled outside in my pink jammies to see what all the hubub was about and lo and behold, this little approx 8cm tall guy was already into my greenhouse and trying to eat a basil plant twice his size. He claims he was only climbing it. I'm not so sure. there's sucker marks on my basil... Anyway, that's what I named him. Apparently his true name is unpronounceable in "Terran" as you need six tongues to get the clicks right.

He states he doesn't eat anything and can live on hugs alone. I think he's fibbing. I found my jar of pesto open this morning.....

Oh, I love this little guy! I thought from the thumbnail pic that he might be beaded but the crochet is just perfect.
Ok, I might try making something similar with beads but the crochet is still perfect for Basil!

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

I really dig the flare at the bottom of this little guy and how it's keeping him upright while adding visual interest. The yarn is really pretty.
