Such a lucky friend.

I'd like to know what the tute is that you found for the binding, because I'm stuck at that point on a quilt I just made.  I started it on my machine, and it just looked so lame.  I really don't want to do it by hand, but I know I'm gonna' hafta'.  So if you'd point me in that direction I'd be grateful.

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

Of course! I forgot to link it in my original post:/

If you go to YouTube and search "crafty gemini hand sew a binding" she's got an amazingly simple tute:)

Woo hoo--congrats!

hey, for those who love to quilt but dread the hand sewing, MareMare, the moderator for the quilting boards, posted this most excellent tutorial!  I am a huge fan of machine binding since I make so many quilts in one year...I love the look of hand sewing but I do it for very special quilts for friends and family...here is the link!

Just like everyone else has already said - this is absolutely wonderful. I love the combination of the patterns with the color scheme. Very cute! Who would not love to receive this as a gift??

And congrats and being a featured project! Smiley
