I want to play!  I'm always finding cool Halloween stuff but I don't have any one to gift it to.  I like the zip lock bag idea 'cause I'd probably want to be able to use a priority box and I don't think a plastic pumpkin would fit in one.  But I'll figure out it out no matter what.

I missed out on the 13 days of Halloween swap this year and I would love to get my Halloween crafting on.  I have been wanting a weekend swap for so long.  So happy there is interest this year!

Thanks for posting that link about the butters! I had no idea! I have canned pumpkin butter for a few years and make a batch that does about 8 pints. Thankfully, it gets eaten quickly, and I tell anyone I give it to to stick it in the fridge once they open it (inevitably, that happens immediately:)). I suppose this means I can actually skip the canning step now and just give them to everyone refrigerated?

It supposedly freezes well, and there's nothing wrong with making a batch and gifting it fresh.  I'm sure it would be devoured quickly!
