Jams and pumpkin/apple butters will absolutely make it over the pond:P Tarts may be trickier, but I jar the jams and butters and process them for storing, like when you buy it at a store! I guess I know what my partner will be getting:)

So...last week in September (27-29, send outs on the 30th) or the first weekend of October?

With all this talk of yummy pumpkin butter and treats, I want it now.  Cheesy

Sounds good to me.  I've sent my last claim in the OWS 96.  So, hopefully I'll get my feedback soon, and can join this swap.  I didn't realize I had all 5 spots filled.  Smiley  Oops!

I know, I just signed up for another swap so it will make 5 until I get feedback from the FOC swap. I should also have feedback for the Make a Friend swap by then.

As the site's resident cooking moderator, I feel obligated to comment on home canned pumpkin butter (sorry!).  It's not recommended for a few food safety reasons, even in a pressure canner.  Do a google search and you'll find lots of sources describing why.  Here's an example.

I know!  I think that's one of canning's little known facts.
