I don't have anyone to give the blanket to, but I really like this pattern and had fun with it. I found it for free on Ravelry and did it with my own light yarns on a 36 peg medium gauge knitting loom. It took 3 days, with most of the work done on the 2nd day. I love it. I haven't loom knit in a while and I'm learning new things. I used the e-wrap knit and purl to make it entirely in garter stitch.

That looks like such a fun pattern!  Now I'm trying to figure out why I never thought of straight looming on a curve...  Great job!

That is such a cool blanket. I love how it's all swirly. Thanks for showing what a loom can "do". I really need to get into gear and learn to knit on a loom since I have no patience for regular knitting. Lovely, lovely blanket.

Thank you everyone! Its an edited version of the popular "Wingspan" pattern (which you can get for looms, I bought it a bit ago but haven't started it)

I love loom knitting. I find it much easier than needles. I tried for weeks with needles and couldn't get past cast on. So I bought loom sets!
