I've finished up all my items for the Sweat Shoppe Swap and wrapped up the FOC Secret Swap and so now I'd love to join ya'all over here!  What a great way to knock things off that Christmas list.  Sending my Q in and getting started on my list tonight.

And deepblue - lovely stuff, you really should show some more of your work off over on the glass boards!

Rockmygypsysoul, I have a question, I saw you have a shark pencil case/pouch on your list and the link takes you to a cute fabric one, well, there's this pattern too.

Would you go for that too? Or prefer the fabric? I don't think the crocheted one is lined.

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Crochet is fine!  Pretty much everything I've pinned, I like the general idea - I am very flexible about the medium or how it comes about!   Smiley

I LOVE having a bunch of WIPs at any given time.  Since my pain/ability levels vary so much, it gives me a lot of freedom to work on certain things (like block printing) on days I can sit up at the table for a few hours (for example) but then days when I can barely make it out of bed, I can work on stamp carving or detail painting.  I was just mapping out my crafting plan for this and next week and get to structure things around when I keep my mom company (post-surgery) by just taking over some beadwork or hair clips or other easily-transportable things and then when I'm home can paint or stamp jewelry.

Plus we all know about those days when no matter what, you just can't get a certain project to work for you - I just put it aside and pick up a new medium and work on something else.

This, of course, does explain why I have various crafts in various stages in almost every room in the house  Cheesy

I HAVE a craft room (mostly) to myself.  But as I have to remind the husband all the time, it is for craft storage, not for crafting itself  Cheesy

...........this makes me feel a bit better.  My oldest moved out of the dorms and out of our home into his own place this past summer.  I turned his room into the craft room - this is in addition to my garage studio for glasswork - but somehow, there are projects in various stages of completion on the dining room table, the kitchen island, dresser in the bedroom, over the upstairs railing, on the family room couch............Oy!  I think I need to finish a few things........
