Sewing Clothes Kids Love (book) has a couple jacket patterns with at least one of them having a hood and front zipper option for boys or girls. The book has toddler sizes in it.

There is also this Kwik Sew pattern.

Make It Perfect Uptown Jacket. Could easily use a zipper instead of buttons.

Hope that helps.
